PLEASE TAKE THE TIME 2 READ IT! AND RATE IT! RATE MY PROGRESS THUS FAR!

I was lying in bed one morning, and for some odd reason Runehackz came into mind... I began thinking of some suggestions (Like how you should have 50+ posts in order to post in Black Market, Gold Exchange, Ect) And then i thought since some programmers (Most ive met) are quite creative, and some - just some, are into story writing. I thought i'd make my own little story.

NOW this story is NOT finished ^_^ i just wanna see what u guys think of it SO FAR! Please, speak your mind, but dont be too mean. Again... This is my first work of the kind. Thanks and i hope you like it! I also REALLY want suggestions on where to take the story next (Maybe we can get this a whole community thing? ^_^) Tell me SO FAR how u think it is. If u all hate it i suppose i will stop working on it, but SPEAK YOUR MIND but please don't be cruel or mean! Thanks!

Introduction

I once believed others looked to me for strength, for my faith was a pillar in the house of the Clan of the Elders. I once believed in something greater than myself; I believed that the faithful would be rewarded and the evil would be punished.

I believed the Prophecies of the Final Day to be mere... superstitions, and that even if they had any credence at all, the events they spoke of would never come to fruition in our time...

I was a fool...

Chapter One

Sorrow is a curle companion to one who can afford few friends, and the path of exile seems to attend this mournful spirit that resides inside me...
I walk this desolate wasteland for no apparant reason... Day after day - searching for the one thing to put an end to this "World" of complete chaos. As I do not know what it is that I must find, or even where to begin to search for it, I could be wandering this world for some time...
As I look around myself, I can only see countless number of tombs, and even more corpses who lie among them, no tombs free of space to fit them... I see this quite often in these wastelands, and each time - time after time - it seems like this journey is an endless one
The days in the desert are excruitiating, and the nights are tremendousely cold... But I couldn't sleep even if I tried. If I manage to get to sleep, the dreams come back... The dreams of when I saw that man... The man who slew the "Great Evil", only to unleash it once again... But enough of that, those are times of the past. As I wander in and out of the numberous towns and villages; stopping only for a quick meal at the local Inn and then on my way again, villagers have been known to call me the "Wanderer". I don't know what the term means, but i do not protest.
To be quite honest, i cannot recall my real name, nor can i remember what made me wander this "World". But i musn't stop... I can't stop. For if i stop, I fear mankind will be lost or even possibly damned for an eternity...

Chapter Two

I can't really remember much of why i started this journey, but i do remember a little of what it was like before i left my hometown of Azerzul...

It was in the middle of the night when the screams came... Blood curdling screams at that. I almost fell right out of bed when i heard the first shriek. Shortly there-after, there was a earth-shaking roar that could be hear from miles on each side. And outside the sounds of screams and shouts of residents and the loud crashing sounds of buildings as there were torn down, set ablaze, and being demolished. As i ran to the window, i immediately noticed that the night sky was not pitch black anymore, but it was a strange mix of red and orange. It looked as a sun-rise does... Then my eye caught sight of a family, a father, mother and a young boy all running as if they have seen a ghost. Just then the little boy's leg got caught on something and fell to the ground. As the parents tried to free the little boy's leg, a beast came out from around the house. As the little boy yelled for his parents to hurry, the beast crept ever closer, as if on both his legs and feet. At this point if i remember correctly, the mother let out a terrifying scream and gave one last great thrust, obviousely hurting the boy more than helping, and headed for the hills. The father then took action in-front of the beast, only to be cast away like a fly. At that moment, the beast stood above the little boy, gazing down as if getting ready to feast on the young child, i got a glimpse of it. It stood around eight feet tall, was colored in fur, and as i could see, had two heads. 2 horns raise from each head. While all this was happening, more screams in the distance, more houses set ablaze, more destruction out there, the southern wall of my house was just trashed and scattered by what seemed a minotaur, but more grotesque and horrid. Immediately i ran into the cellar and waited... While i was sitting in the cellar, alone since i have no children or wife, my mind was set on only a few things... Where are the Elders at this moment? Were they struck down before us? What can I do to help? What was to happenen of the little boy? All these thoughts rushed through my mind as i collapsed into an everlasting darkness.

As i awoke from that state you could call sleep, i found myself still in the cellar, still the screams of the innocent rang through my mind. I pushed myself to open the cellar door, and when i looked out i saw nothing but rubbel... I cannot say how long i had been out, or where the demons and the beasts have gone to, but i know one thing... Nothing is left standing. The houses are all rubbel, the villager's bodies cover the streets. Some flames are to be seen, but not many... My house was not left standing... If the cellar ceiling was made out of a type of iron, I would have been engulfed by the flames. As i step over the rubbel, i begin into the streets. I can't take a step without stepping in the body filled streets. I make my way to the Church, the only building left standing, seemed untouched. When the door creeks open, i notice that all is as was before the "Raid". Where were the Elders? Their bodies don't cover the streets as the counltess others... Did they flee? Did they even survive? If they didn't flee, did they stay and fight? If so, what was the effect their magic had on the demons? Just as i finish the last though, a scream rings out from a distance away. Until then all had fallen silent. As i rush in that direction...
