Hai, im boomer. and im going to explain to you, in text form and picture form, about wars. I noticed alot of people dont know alot about being in war, so i thought id make a guide, that you dont need to download like slayers, I first of all, presume that you know how to pk, and what gear to bring.
First of all, if you want to live longer, you need at least lvl 43 prayer for protect against melee (f2p), Melee prayer is good, but try and save your prayer points for when you are getting piled. Being piled is nothing special, its just when you have more then 1 person on you. usually if you run east or west, or tree hug (explained later in this guide), they will leave you alone and try and get back into there pile.
First things first.
You should always try and stick close to the person calling, and spam the name they are saying. Or if no one is calling, call a name yourself, and soon someone will spam it, and you can keep calling.

If they are piling you, stay in your pile, put protect from melee on,
and run to burn their energy. this also distracts them from piling others, because it makes them walk/run all the way back, wasting energy.

Death dot= All stand in one spot. (will ad pics)
Di on Patato= all attack Patato.(will add pics)
Tree hugging= Using the tree to get people off of you when you are getting piled. So your on one side of the tree, and run around to the other side, to avoid being piled by people. Alos works with rocks.

Running east and west: DO NOT RUN SOUTH, They will think you are returning if you come from the south into the battle. Also running east or west when piled is a good way to get people off you, as they think your a runner, and they will go back to their fight.
I once ran CL all the way to rune rocks, which was non multi, then got ownt by a lvl 110. Was good fun.
